This page outlines the status of the Gate Three application as information becomes available.

General

  • There was an issue with some FER companies created from Employee Contact documents in New Gate Three not appearing in Old Gate Three. This has been resolved.

  • When creating a new project in old Gate Three, the project profile document will need to be saved, then a manual synchronization to create the project in new Gate Three.  Please send an email to esupport@ellisdon.com to request the manual synchronization. 

Companies and Contacts

  • If you were adding a company to a project where a workflow is generated, the default payment method was set to Cheque.  If this wasn’t noticed and corrected, and the workflow was approved, any previously existing direct deposit information was overwritten in AS/400.  This has been resolved.  

  • We thought it would be helpful if we summarized what you are able to perform in Gate Three, and how to request support if you can’t self-perform:

Creating New Companies

Available to all EllisDon Employees.  Please refer to this Help Document for guidance.  

Adding Companies to Projects

Available to all EllisDon Employees who have access to the project.  Please refer to this Help Document for guidance.  If you encounter an issue seeing your project number when adding the company to your jobsite, please contact esupport@ellisdon.com, and copy the PM of Record from your jobsite with the following details:

  • Project Number & Name

  • Expected level of access (your job role)

Modifying Companies

You are not able to do this.  Please send an email to esupport@ellisdon.com with the following information:

  • Company Name

  • Company Number

  • Vendor ID

  • Tax ID (If applicable)

  • Details of requested modification

  • Urgency of requested change

Adding a location to a Company

Available to all EllisDon Employees, with two caveats.  Please refer to this Help Document for guidance.

  • If the new location document you’ve created is left in draft mode, you will not be able to edit the draft.  If you are in this situation, please contact esupport@ellisdon.com with location document details so we can either delete the draft, or submit it for approval on your behalf.

  • If there is a duplicate company with an identical business number already existing in new Gate Three, you won’t be able to save the new location.  This issue will be resolved when we complete the full migration of edit capabilities to the new platform. This is scheduled to be completed by March 16th.

Creating New Contacts

Available to all EllisDon Employees.  Please refer to this Help Document for guidance.  

Adding Contacts to Projects

Available to all EllisDon Employees.  Please refer to this Help Document for guidance.  Note: If you’re not able to complete this function, you may not have the correct permissions within the project.  Please send an email to esupport@ellisdon.com, copying the PM of Record on the project, with the following information:

  • Project Number & Name

  • Contact Name and Company, and role for the contact.

Modifying Contacts

You are not able to do this.  Please send an email to esupport@ellisdon.com with the following information:

  • Company Name and Contact Name

  • Details of requested modification

  • Urgency of requested change
