Gate Three allows for multiple configurations for each module. This section will provide a quick overview.

The Settings can be opened from either:

• Gate Three Home or when logged into a
• Project.

Navigate to the Settings

1. Click on the Start Menu.
2. Click on the Administration Module.
3. Click on Settings.
4. Choose a Context.
   

   When the Settings Module is opened, you must first choose a Context. (Overall, Area, or Project) 
   Depending on the Context chosen, and your Access Control Level (ACL) different configuration options will become available for each Module.

   • Overall: Modifications will be made to all of Gate Three, any Area or Project Configurations will be affected.
   • Area: You may have multiple Areas configured. (Such as: West, North, East etc.) Any modifications made here will not affect the Overall settings, but will be available to Project Settings - if the Project is within that Area. 
   • Project: (Only available when logged into the Project.) Any modifications made here will only affect that particular project.
     
     
5. Click the Open or Edit link next to the module you wish to configure.
