Companies & Contacts: Preferred Suppliers & Companies on Hold
Preferred Suppliers
Under the Companies & Contacts section, a third tab of “Preferred Suppliers” has been added. These are companies with which the Purchasing Department has negotiated better rates for EllisDon projects, these rates can be found on the Purchasing Department’s Portal Page.
When searching through all Companies, Preferred Suppliers will be highlighted with a star beside their name.
Companies On Hold (*to be released soon*)
Under certain circumstances, typically legal or financial, a company or specific company location may be put On Hold. When a company or location is On Hold it means restrictions have been placed on it, preventing new Contracts, Purchase Orders, Payments, or a combination thereof.
Companies on hold will be immediately visible from the Companies tab by a stop icon beside their name. Their Profile will also show this at the top right, and reasons for hold in a section below the location.
