Create Design Document Lists


Design Documents can be summarized as a list for future purposes throughout the life of the project. Design Document Lists are typically created to append to Contract Requisitions; in the Contract Management module or as a list of the drawings, addenda and specifications supporting a potential/contemplated/approved change.

Prerequisites:

Create a Design Document List:

Create a Design Document List - From the New Menu

  1. Navigate to the Design and BIM Module. (Ensure you are logged in to a Project.)
  2. Click on the New drop down menu button and select the Design Document List option.

3. Enter the Document List Details.

    • List Title: Mandatory Field.
    • Purpose: Select from the Available fields.
    • Reference Number: Automatically populated field.
    • Comments: Add any comments

4. Click on the Add Design Documents button.

5. Select all of the Design Documents required for this List.

6. Click Save to complete the List.

Next Steps

Create a Design Document List - From the Design Documents View

  1. Navigate to the Design and BIM Module. (Ensure you are logged in to a Project.)
  2. Filter through the view using the Filter Boxes to find your desired list attributes.
  3. Select the Documents that you wish to include in your list.
    You may filter multiple times, and the selected items will aggregate in the "x items selected" at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Click the Create List button.

5. Enter the Document List Details.

    • List Title: Mandatory Field.
    • Purpose: Select from the Available fields.
    • Reference Number: Automatically populated field.
    • Comments: Add any comments

6. Click Save to complete the List.
