Add/Remove Companies to Work Area

Adding or removing Companies to Work Areas provides you the ability to associate companies to one or more predefined work areas. For example: Ontario. This function is available from either the Gate Three Home (Corporate level) or from within a Project.

This is configurable by any user that has  proper Access Control Level (ACL).

Prerequisite:

To add or remove a Company to a Work Area:

  1. Navigate to the Contacts module. 
    The Project Companies and Contacts view is displayed if you are logged into a project. This is a list of all the Companies you have added to your Project.

  2. Click on the View Menu.
  3. Select any Company view.
  4. Click the Check Box next to the Company or Companies.
    Selected companies are highlighted in green.
  5. Click More Actions, and select Add/Remove Work Area.
    The Add/Remove Work Area screen appears. 

6. Click Add or Remove. The remove link is only available if the company is already associated to the work area.
A confirmation message is displayed.
