Add/Remove Companies to Groups

Adding or removing companies to groups provides you the ability to associate selected companies to one or more company groups. A Company can be added or removed from either the Gate Three Home (Corporate level) or from within a Project.

This is configurable by any user that has the proper Access Control Level (ACL).

Prerequisite:

To add/remove a Company to a Group:

  1. Navigate to the Contacts module. 
    The Project Companies and Contacts view is displayed if you are logged into a project. This is a list of all the Companies you have added to your Project.

  2. Click on the View Menu.
  3. Select any Company view.
  4. Click the Check Box next to the Active Company or Companies.
    Selected companies are highlighted in green.
  5. Click Add/Remove Group. This button is displayed for Project Manager, Assistant PM, and Project Coordinator role.


6. Click on the More Actions link, then click on the Add/Remove Group. This step is required for Gatekeeper role.


The Add/Remove Group screen appears. The remove link is only available if the company is already associated to the group. A confirmation message is displayed.
